I had a great vacation. I didn't wash a dish, cook, or touch a computer for 4 days! It was wonderful. This was the view out the front door of my freind's house where I stayed. Since I have gotten back, I have been working on ideas for my research question. I am thinking about researching if the schools are supporting and providing adequate and effective technology professional development for educators. I intend to use EBSCO as it is available to me at work, and contains many relative sources for this type of research. I am also most familiar with it as I have used it before.

Ebsco is probably a good choice, but remember it is just a vendor and has many different databases within it to choose from. Also, you have access to many other databases on the WIU library web site that should be available anywhere you have an internet connection.
Nice pics Leslie...Where were you lucky enough to go to?
I was hoping to use several of the databases within Ebsco. I hope that is OK. The ones offered that will be most helpful I think are Professional Development Collection which contains full text educational journals and reports; Academic Search Elite; Teacher Reference Center; and Topic Search.
The pictures were taken of Lake Norfolk in Mt. Home in northwestern Arkansas. I am off to St. Louis tomorrow and Saturday.
